Nothing says Rock and Roll like Paisley. I found them on hard rubbish complete with grills made of brown striped carpet but selfishly they contained no speakers. I set about wiring one up with 12 inch speakers from a vintage wurlitzer organ which I found smashed on the hard rubbish. This cabinet has a very vintage sound and is quite mellow. The other cabinet I wired with more modern speakers and these are both louder and edgier in their sound. I use them with my valve amp and orange micro terror and never together so the differing tones of each cabinet become a positive attribute; so long as I can remember which is which.
I am a final year student of the RMIT Bachelor of Music Industry Course. As part of my major project I have created a home studio with which to record my own music. This website chronicles the process that was followed and the items used within the studio.
